Formerly a granary, Yeoman’s Cottage, attached on one side to a thatched Devon longhouse, is at the end of a no through private drive at the head of a 12 acre beautiful, hidden valley where a former cider orchard with ornamental trees slopes down to two ponds naturally fed by local springs. A natural habitat for ducks, moorhens, herons and a Preservation Area for the Cirl Bunting the heights of Salcombe can be seen, but all that can be heard is birdsong making this a magical and very peaceful spot. Well restored with lovely views, this cottage is a true hideaway in this secluded hollow, ideal for a small family or couples. A welcoming bottle of wine on arrival.
