Formerly a granary, Yeoman’s Cottage, attached on one side to a thatched Devon longhouse, is at the end of a no through private drive at the head of a 12 acre beautiful, hidden valley where a former cider orchard with ornamental trees slopes down to two ponds naturally fed by local springs. A natural habitat for ducks, moorhens, herons and a Preservation Area for the Cirl Bunting the heights of Salcombe can be seen, but all that can be heard is birdsong making this a magical and very peaceful spot. Well restored with lovely views, this cottage is a true hideaway in this secluded hollow, ideal for a small family or couples. A welcoming bottle of wine on arrival.

Accommodation: Ground floor large boot room. Open plan living room, feature fireplace with wood burner, Freeview TV, DVD, CD/Hi-Fi. Kitchen area, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dining area. First floor open plan bedroom 1, king size bed, en suite bathroom with shower over bath and adjoining bedroom 2 with single bed.

Outside: Extensive patio for guests’ use, with sea views in parts, garden furniture and barbecue. 12 acres of meadows around the cottage.
